To be fair, I didn't join until last night & the motivating factor was Yao's osteomyelitis & everyone's idea on what was going to happen. I had osteomyelitis in my big toe too when I was 15. So I understood why he was dealing with a toenail problem, then it got stepped on & THEN became infected. Within 12hrs of reinjuring my toe, it was painfull as all get out! Thats when the xrays showed the gap in the break getting larger. Went to an orthopedic surgeon who started antibiotics immediately & surgery the next day.
We live in Carrollton, we went to game 1 and 7 here in Dallas for the playoffs and we stayed through the whole game 7....
I lived in Lewisville before buying my house up here in Cross Roads. There's a vietnamese restuarant I love frequenting @ Josey & Beltline: Pho Saigon.
COOL! I eat there almost twice a week! If you like vietnamese food or have never tried, I can steer you in the right direction or at least my fiance can as she's half vietnamese. Let me know if you wanna check it out (if by you know the place you KNOW where it's at, but have never eaten there).
Well, tell ya what, next time me & the woman are headed there, I'll msg you. That's one thing I miss about Houston. The food there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better there than here in Dallas. I've just *NOW* found a mexican restaurant I'd be willing to frequent. Any other restaurant I've visited in Dallas has been a one & only visit. I've got a rule about ethnic food. If it's vietnamese, are there vietnamese eating there? If it's mexican, are there mexican's eating there? ETC. The two restaurants I've found (Pho Saigon & Los Lupes on Josey & Bush) both pass that test.
yeah...growing up in Houston...living in Dallas will make you like Houston even more. There are a few of us up here. Of course, I remember driving up here in 98 to watch the ROX, cuz you couldn't get tickets in Houston. There were more Rocket fans in Reunion arena than Mav fans.
Hey, I used to live in Carrollton too. I hated all the Dallas teams (especially the Cowboys) when I was there. Now I'm in the town of my most hated NBA team: Lakers. LOL, what a fan's life!
