You have to laugh at the nonsense, I mean literally, I get called out in every single thread...... So, I made up the term DDingleberries, people who follow me around, or make a comment just about me, rather than the thread topic. Just look at this thread, 2 comments and I was not even in the danged thing....so I point it out.......and hopefully, they will learn that it is not really what you should do on a quality BBS. That it would be more constructive to have a conversation that is germaine to the topic at hand...... It is just bizzare...and uneccessary. I am just trying to shine the light on the practice. DD
Ugh nothing against you, man, but enough of that stuff. I know you're trying to keep up with the times but this is just working against you.
Man, is it bash DD day or something?? I guess i missed the memo! I Dont really see the point in everyone ganging up on one guy for no reason!! But thats just me!
Class move by Yao... On one hand he has the open invitation to a new and fellow teammate, while at the same time, taking the leadership reigns and letting the media know what his basketball intentions are for this year... Interesting indeed...
Guys what is up with all these nonsense? This thread is about Courtney Lee. Its not for you guys to get on this thread and waste space talking about each other. Comon, this site is for Rockets fans to share their opinions and thoughts on the Rockets and the NBA, not for you guys to chit chat about each other. If you guys want to do that then do it on AOL or AIm or something, but not here on Clutchfans.
As if there is something better to do/talk about this time of year. (Football hasn't REALLY started yet)
Absolutely! AND, he's gotta be so pumped up about coming back to all the talent Morey & Les have amassed, and probably with melo, I mean more to follow...
How can you miss the memo when thats been the memo every day on every thread these past two years (thats just how back my memories go because thats when i first got on here..) and prolly since '99. And 98% of the people dont know him personally, so basically are bashing on his internet personality.. But whatever, do what helps boost your self esteem.
This is the most cold-hearted business in sports. The guy is a trade pawn and probably knows it. But he does a good job of acting anyways.
http://mobile.chron.com/chron/db_41047/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=krofzUol&src=cat Lee wanted No. 11 but we all know who that belongs to.
If you knew me, you would know how silly that post is..... And I like Lee a lot, his demeanor seems to fit perfectly with the team. DD
Sorry if this info is in the article, I didn't read it, but Lee wanted to wear number 11 for serious personal reasons. As a freshman at WKU he was really homesick and nearly transferred before the year even started. Danny Rumph, then a junior (I believe) PG took him under his wing and convinced him to stay (where Lee finished his career tied for the most points scored in a career at WKU). Courtney and Danny were best friends, and as the season ended, Danny returned home to Philly and tragically died on the court during a pickup game from an undetected heart condition. Danny Rumph wore #11, and Lee wore that number in Orlando to commemorate his fallen friend. Obviously, he could not get #11 in Jersey and won't here either. If I'm ever cleared to create a thread I'll create one about Lee providing you all with insight on his game/personality from someone that was at WKU the same 4 years Lee was.
Count me as a DDingleberry because I too think that your DuhDuhCasts on the Rockets and the NBA are B-B-Boring.
