Battier actually has made some clutch shots in the past. Two against the Lakers (too bad the second one was a loss), the shot against Denver, etc.

You know how you know if Battier is going to make a clutch shot...if he's missed a bunch of shots before that >_<

Seriously, he either is on fire and misses the clutch shot.
    or
    He's cold and makes it.

    Seems that way to me.

he has his share of clutch shots.

actually last year he hit a clutch 3 against denver as well.

his first season with the rockets he hit a clutch 3 vs the clippers as well.

    Allegedly.

I think most of the guys out there are capable of coming up with a basket late in the game. I think that's precisely what's going to make us so dangerous.

Artest has been nailing the 3.
    Battier has hit big shots.
Brooks can get to the basket...whenever. He's working on his finishing, but he's coming along nicely.
Scola has come up with timely boards.
I see no reason why Yao can't hit late game shots; provided he gets the ball and he's being shown single coverage. He cannot wait with the ball though.
Man, I'd even let Barry go for a late game 3.

Uh Kobe's team with Lamar Odom as his sidekick missed the playoffs entirely. Isn't that even worse? So Kobe is a worse closer than Tmac?
