Battier has been an iron man for us. We need to stop with the bad energy and keep a positive outlook. We're a deep team, Battier later can be inserted in the rotation and the team won't skip a beat.

That's the beauty of having a deep roster - you can absorb injuries a lot better. Injuries are a fact of life. They can't be avoided. The season is 82 games long. And in that time everyone will have their funks, nicks and bruises and all 15 guys will have their opportunity to step up. (Have no fear, Frachise-lovers. Stevie will get his chance.) With this roster, one key guy going down for a few weeks won't sink the ship?

You right missing preseason is nothing. But what scares me is that when the season starts he may re-injure himself again.

    INSIDER
    Get your attention" LOL.
Friend saw/sees Battier on a plane to Dallas. Looks fine to him. Nothing really special to provide. But I made you read with that bold insider didn't I?

Maybe sign Bonzi for 2.4. Who else is left? Oh ya we have Barry. Nevermind.

well.. at least it wasn't Tmac or Yao.. and it doesn't seem too serious... and I guess it's a blessing to know that Landry is back and we have Artest. We're still in good shape. Some of you need some xanax. ;)

I'm not worried about this at all. If anything, it seems rather convenient.

A well rested Battier ready for battle once the other inevitable injuries occurs is good by me. I actually think Morey is down with it ;)

Fritz how about interviewing the medical staff to see what they are doing different this year for injury prevent and what new techniques will they employ to speed up recovery if there is an injury. Does Morey keep statistics on player injuries and speed of recovery with different methods?

At least we got another perimeter defender in artest, imagine if we didn't who will defend the best player

This may actually be a blessing in disguise. This allows more time for artest to be on the floor with tmac and yao for a time so that he can mesh with them and develop chemistry.

Blessing in disguise...i heard that before...every year actually haha. This team is cursed with injuries. Before the season start...they always seem to have key player injured.
