actually at least a few extra Rockets games are most likely to be added on NBA TV, since they haven't posted those yet...

I don't mind us at all having few nationally televised games.
It's hard to get a decent stream when they are on nation television.

First time since JVG got fined 100k that the Rockets don't have to play the Suns 3 times on the 2nd night of a back-2-back.

I guess with Shaq in, they aren't the same team so Stern's tool for eternal punishment against Yao has ceased to exist.

I'm just glad that we don't have those hard back to backs like last year putting us against playoff teams. This year it looks more evened out where we don't have to fight the heavyweights all in a row.

There are a few tough ones in that stretch, particularly at Detroit. But honestly the Rockets should win almost all of those games.

One good thing I noticed is that this year our games with Utah are even. We get 2 at home and 2 at Salt Lake. Not like last year with the BS schedule of 1 home and 2 away.

toronto needs more than 2 national tv games. we should have more than 13 games but after this season we'll get 20+ games on tv every year :) .

pisses me off how november is always our toughest month. now they have the nerve to put us on a road trip for most of november, randomly make the team go to houston, causing intentional unintential fatigue when they go back on the road.

**** you stern, its gonna be hard for him to hand the finals trophy to us.

By the way, for those that don't know, my Rockets blog can no be found here:

Today's entry focuses, of course, on the hot off the presses schedule. Feel free to offer your initial thoughts and predictions there, too.

I noticed that too. That was actually the first thing I went looking for with this year's schedule.

For those worried about the tough close to the season schedule, a couple things:

    1. If it's anything like this past season (and I'm pretty sure it is, though I'm too lazy to check other teams' schedules), then it's going to be a tough ending stretch for almost EVERY great team in the conference. They do this on purpose, to have as many high-profile matches as possible in the closing stretch of the season when everyone is jockeying for playoff positioning. It makes for good, drama-filled TV.

    2. There is no such thing as a "tough stretch". Not for this team. Believe it.

Plus it's going to prepare them for the playoffs better.

Don't worry about National TV games...we'll have at least 16 of them come April and May.
