No they are garbage. Overpriced crap. Dr. Dre/Monster cable brand called Beats. They all have the Studio model which is like ~$300 and sounds worse than some $30 cans. I am hoping someone gave it to them for free as a group purchase. they look cool and sound terrible which is why you probably see everyone just wearing them and not listening.
one more thing i forgot to mention about Morey I went to go talk to him he noticed my Lowry jersey and laughed and said I'll try not to trade him. He turns over to the friend he had there and says "this guy had a Donte Greene jersey and I ended up trading him before the season even started 2 years ago. He also had a Novak jersey too and I traded him too" I laughed I wanted to say "you know daryl I DONT have a tmac OR brian cook jersey......hint hint"
It's not going to always work. It worked last night because the Clippers were specifically looking to exploit mismatches and iso right from the start of the game. It was working for them early on because they were moving the ball well. Adelman decided to bait them into this strategy and it worked because it completely stopped the ball movement and they got bogged down. They figured that after Butler hit three in a row they'd just keep dumping it to him and let him destroy Brooks in the post. Then the Rockets defense just kicked into gear and did the rest, and their offense died and never resurrected again.
i didn't even know you were gonna be at game so while watching it, they put the camera right on ya and I said (a little too loudly since i was at a restaurant haha) "there's YOYO" the peeps with me were like....uhhhhhh what the hell are you talking about lmfao!!! anyway, great recap of everything...glad y'all had fun! go rockets!
yep, as a sound guy I can say they are just a fad. You can buy a better pair of "cans" for half the price.
