Who can take a sunrise (who can take a sunrise) Sprinkle it with dew (sprinkle it with dew) Cover it with choc'late and a Championship or two The Camby Man (the Camby Man) Oh, the Camby Man can (the Camby Man can) The Camby Man can 'Cause he mixes it with love(Next Year) And makes the world taste good (He makes the world taste good)
Stein is trustworthy now? If LAC and CHI are after him, I'm sure we're not going to get him. Too bad, would've loved to see Camby man back.
Why don't we pick up Drew Gooden instead? Well, maybe Gooden wants more than we can pay with the room exception. But he would be nice insurance if our rookies turn out to suck.
I have always liked Camby, but he doesn't have much left. He may get some more minutes on a different team.
Loved Marcus Camby when he was with us. Great locker-room presence and continually encouraging the guys
In order to get Camby to sign with Houston, we'd have to promise him the backup role. A Camby signing means Omer is gone...plain and simple.
Camby reminds ne so much of Dekecwhen we had him here backing up Yao. He might've even the best back up C ever.
Campy I believe can play some 4, so it could be possible to add him and keep Asik. Or maybe I'm just being greedy.
If the rockets want him then they'll get him. The last couple of years, camby always put the rockets as his desired team because that's "the home team." He wanted to get traded here and did. Then he wanted to get resigned here but the rockets. Said no.
At his age, Camby should be happy to take the hometown discount, sign for the vet's minimum, be the 12 th man on the bench, not work too hard in practice, and just be ready to play 10 minutes if Asik goes at the trade deadline. Another million dollars is still a lot of money. I'm not saying it like he's too old to play, under the above conditions, I'd love to have him. If D12 went down for any period, it would be great to have Camby off the bench for Asik.
