Usually you wouldn't sign players to millions dollar deals just to cut them the next day. It's throwing away millions for what? Camby? I have heard of these LMA trade rumors. Not a single one proposes he will be traded any earlier than the trade deadline. That would be stupid of Portland. Also you usually don;t sign a player just to trade him unless the player has agreed upon the sign and trade

I disagree. I believe that if, if, the Blazers plan on cutting ties then they would be best served to get it done and move on to the next phase. It would be stupid to keep a team in turmoil and flux if they know they are going in another direction. That is - - if.

Completely different from all three teams' perspectives: OKC blinked when The Beard wouldn't give a discount. Rox jumped on a top shelf player putting themselves in play for this summer's acquisition. Portland needs to choose a direction, and get on with things. Rox, if LMA were to come here to play, would see him as a #3 (at best) talent on a very talented team.
