Until they sell this House! I've been thinking we had to move Wall to remove some of the clutter BUT it's House who has to go! Rockets need to make room for Bey, KMJ and Brooks.
We are rebuilding... And, they are all role players...at best. Perhaps KMJ continues to improve, but he still can't put the ball on the floor. Good to see the improvement in the shooting...
For one Bey will probably suck. Even with Stones track record this is just a giant lotto. I bought $10 worth of mega millions the other day so 5 lines … only one match in all of that so nowhere f’ing close. Likely outcome would Bey. I’d be surprised if he makes the team at this point. for two, Brooks is a guard. Although absolutely less players in that 1/2/3 combined glut can help as you can at least run some 3 guard lineups. for three and most importantly, Stone is patient and isn’t rushing anything. He will move House when he can maximize value. Which will be during the season. House is on an expiring. He will be on his best behavior and I suspect be ready to have a decent start. When some playoff team wants that extra 3&d’ish type body that’s the time to move him for a young player plus 2022 first rounder, ideally. I’m sure Stone is approaching the Wall situation the same way, except much more willing to move Wall sooner if something remotely positive comes along trade wise as you definitely benefit from removing Wall from the glut of guards foremost and from the playstyle that is a bit ball dominant and imo doesn’t mesh with KPJ much at all.
I doubt the Rockets will move any of these vets other than maybe ego. They are going to at least try to compete to start the season which is exactly what they should do.
