@Snow Villiers - only source I trust. He called out the garbage signings & more today. Anything else we should look out for tomorrow?
All three guys are very serviceable insurance. When Tari misses games, Tate has stepped up in brief stints which is what we need, he is a pro and good presence to have, the same goes w Jeff Green. We had no one who could buy a bucket at times, and Holiday can provide this. I felt we were wasting a roster spot w guys like Boban because he was just a locker room presence, and a guy that people liked. Thats well and good, but this is the NBA where you can find end of bench guys who can be good locker room guys, can play as insurance or in limited roles as well. It is not just about finding guys who are willing to get paid what they do, they have to also be content not playing at all for several weeks at a time.
7 deep according to Udoka. Stone’s pitch to free agents. Come sign with us and rest your body on the bench. It’s like you’re working from home everyday.
Yes. And Ime was wrong big time. If he uses FVV as a PG on offense this year instead of off-ball, he will be screwing Amen again. Our PG needs to be able to get to the hoop and convert or be an affective assist producer, something that FVV has never been. Ime is the one that needs to improve not Tate, who is perfectly capable of being an end of bench player that gets minutes trying to up the defensive intensity. He also provides 6 fouls when you need them and has gotten pretty good at corner 3’s.
Man watch ya filthy mouth. These people are vets, and quality vets at that. They fit the bill perfectly when called upon.
Somebody has to do tiktok dances after 3 pointers to keep us relevant to the young generation.. You'd prefer rotational pieces to handle that kind of responsibility?
