We are deep at shooting guard. He's play behind Kevin Martin and Chase Budinger and (sometimes) Shane Battier and (sometimes) Trevor Ariza and (sometimes) Kyle Lowry. All have played the 2, which is Taylor's typical spot. Even today, with all the injuries, he still likely wouldn't get much playing time unless our line-up went really, really small (Ariza at the PF).

Now that Harris is gone for a bit for the Vipers, Taylor is gonna explode.

10 day contract means Mike will be back down by next Friday's game which will be Rockets night at the State Farm Arena. I will be there to check out Clutch and RPD's, it will also be bobble head night. The Vipers will make their first ever playoffs.

If we are signing a 6'6" forward to play F/C, then the rockets must be tanking. Chuck Hayes and Harris will be shorter than the opposing team's shooting guards.

Mike may provide even more scoring off the bench.

Mike Harris will probably play more of a SF/PF role, with Armstrong up to play the PF/C position.

Question. On Rockets.com it says we signed Harris for the rest of the season. Can anyone confirm?

Yeah, I saw that too, Mark Berman of Fox26 was the one that broke that story.

I'm ok with signing Harris, but why sign him for the rest of this season AND next season? It doesn't make any sense. He's just going to get cut when all the "good" players come back.
