I don't like this move if it involves losing Cam. Capela is super washed, I saw him play on the Hawks last year, it looked sad tbh. Also, he's super injury prone.

Idk why Stone chose him out of all these backup/3rd string centers to sign. I know he's an ex-Rocket but still.

Smaller microwave SG's off the bench are overrated. You need switchable defenders who can hit threes and size inside.

Yeah, I was wondering about that myself. Thanks for clarifying.

It makes me wonder if there isn't a possibility of a surprise trade for somebody who isn't Giannis. It feels like our forward/center depth is just ridiculous right now, so either they just really want to be sure we're prepared to deal with injuries, or they're building toward something. I wish I felt like there was a real chance of a surprise deal for Ant Edwards or somebody like that.

Jock Landale replacement. Interested to see if any of those years are non guaranteed. We’re not in on Giannis

    BREAKING:

Capela deal mainly to facilitate the acapella with Capela segment during game breaks.

Big money spinner for Tillman, and he is thrilled to bring the segment back.
Also excited is Steven Adams, who possesses a light airy countertenor, and can hit a clean high bell-like note high in the alto-range.

I’m with you. Rockets fans are remembering Clint fondly but this is not the Clint they remember…not even close. Headscratcher to give him 3 guaranteed yrs. Only move I don’t like this offseason.

He's the Jock Landale replacement. What's confusing about it?

I think the Rockets are positioning themselves for a real trade offer for Giannis. And I think Sengun would be the main piece…. Sengun, Tari, Whitmore, 4 number 1 picks for Giannis!

I hope they aren’t just giving up Cam in a sign and trade for Capela. He’s a good guy to have off the bench, but Cam has much more value at this point than Capela. We don’t even know what he is yet. He’s got some growing up to do, but his ceiling is miles above where Clint ever sniffed at.
