So if we get him, whose minutes will he take? Wesley and Barry are currently getting most of the minutes at the 2. Out of the three, if DA is healthy then he should be the starter. I'd hate to see Barry's role reduced any, so does that make Wesley the odd man out? Can we reduce T-Mac's minutes any by adding DA?

I would say that Da woudl take some of Tmac mins - but as far as Wesley and Barry - I think he might go with the hot hand

I agree he will be taking some of T-Macs min. I mean he is great and all but he's known for gettin injured pretty fast. I dont know about you guys but come playoff time i want him 100% healthy and fit so we can make our run! If he keeps play 44 min a game im afraid he'll kinda break down as the season comes to an end kinda like Steve Nash allways does :p

i see the minutes at the 1, 2, 3 like this after the trade:

    tmac(40)-DA(24)-bowen(0)
    wes(30)-barry(20)
    sura(30)-rod(0)

notice the best thing about the trade are rod and bowen's minutes.

If for no other reason, then let's pull the trigger on this! T-Macs mpg must come down!!!

Maybe start DA after a while at the 2 and slide DA over to the 3 while T-Mac sits and DWs at the 2 off the bench and/or have SP come in at the 3, DA stays at the 2 (bench), and DW slides to the 1 with JB/AB (bench) at the 1 also. Wow, whatta bench! :D

Well not as of yet. Its just been posted on ESPN insiders. Im sure the Jailblazers want to shop him around for other offers as well. Id say like wise for the Rox but there isn't much to shop with MoTs over donr contract lol

This would be a brilliant move if Les could somehow convince the Jailblazers to agree to this. Anderson is a good player that could give us quality minutes.

Mo doesn't want to be a Rocket, Anderson doesn't want to be a Jailblazer. Let's make the best of a bad situation and make this deal happen.:)

I may have missed it...what indication has Mo given that he doesn't wanna be a Rocket?

I don't have any concrete examples, quotes or anything. I'm just going on what I see and some of the things I have read on here. Mo doesn't play hard this year, he doesn't look like he even cares out there. He seems to have little to no heart or work ethic.

Since none of us really know what goes on in the locker room, all we can do is speculate. It's safe to say Mo isn't a JVG type player, combine that with his dreadful play this year i'd imagine he's falling out of favor with JVG. If a coach doesn't have confidence in you anymore, why would you want to play for him? I've heard mumblings on here before about him suggesting he wants out, it makes sense.

I also agree Mo doesn't want to be with the team.. ever since the trade went down..

everytime we swing the ball on the outside and maurice has the ball, rarely do i see him pass the ball out and swing it around. IMO he just wants to shoot the ball no matter what the coach says. but thats jmo

I think it might be more of the other way around.

I disagree I strongly beleive that MoT wants to stay a Rocket. He was really right with Jim Jackson thought.... I could see him doing really well on the Suns...

    I don't like the trade.

What do we need with another two for?

If anything, we should try to pry Marshall away from Toronto.

    Flawed logic?

If Mo was so tight with the same Jim Jackson that got traded, why would that make him want to remain a Rocket?

mo wants to be here in the same way that steve and cat did. they like it here and feel this is there home in the NBA. however, they have become upset by their new roles and thus want either A) things to change here, or B) a new team.

    so, new team it is.

get Marshall - great idea... with what (they don't want what we have) ?

this type of deal is less about getting a guard and more about getting rid of Mo

Miami and Philly have already walked away from Marshall due to some ridiculous trade demands, perhaps we're next to walk... I would prefer DM over DA though, have to look at salaries, I'd imagine DM makes a little less...
