As a fast pace team, Rockets missed the playoff last year, and is now on 3:6 this year.
A good center is a center piece of a team.

Stfu smartass. Stop posting a new thread with your opinion of the last 2 games. The Rockets lost 5 games without Yao and won 2. And BTW, last year we didn't make the playoffs.

Yes... that's exactly what I meant, given that I never mentioned "Yao," "deserve," or "contract."

I wouldn't say better, just different. If Yao was inverted off the baseline and into the mid or high post, plus focused on defense, this could be a good team. As it stand right now, adelman is trying to get yao involved offensively while he's on the floor which is throwin everyone else off.

Yes, as long as he doesn't die, he is part of the future of something.

Yao cant even GUARD A SNAIL ANYMORE. His defense is farsical qand on offense he slows the team down. This team is better without Yao and his drama

Yet, you were one of McGrady's biggest dick riders, even after he left the Rockets.

Nope, they just can play only one style for 48 minutes and not swich their style for half that time.
I think the main´s faul is on Adelman for not using Yao to our strenghts, if you look at the Spurs and at the Celtics they use KG and TD to anchor their defenses and reboun while on offense they take what the defense gave them, instead of their teammates forcing the offence onto them.
It´s a much more efficient way of using him and also this way KG and TD are preserved for the postseason.
Duncan played 23 mins tonight against the thunders, he had 6 points, 4 rebounds but 3 blocks.
This is what we need from Yao, good defense and timely offense, as of now, this team does not need him to score 20, but they do need him to prevent teams for doubling Scola, and to help in the defensive department mainly.
