yea that makes alot of sense, you cant win a championship without a starting PG who cant shoot... signed, Rajon Rondo
It has been 9 freakin' games. Way too early to start pointing fingers. It takes time for (even good teams) to build chemistry. As you all can see, they are getting better, and it only gets better as our key components return from injuries. Relax folks. This is still gonna be a special year. Book it!
why not? it doesnt take an 82 game schedule to know the backcourt of KMart and AB is trash, we had an entire 2nd half of the 09 season to witness that and it has continued into the beginning of this season.. your comment makes no sense, sorry
Exactly, without a backup PG, we were screwed......if Brooks would have gone out, the numbers would also be bad. We need both of them...just as I have been saying all along. DD
a championship ring speaks clearly enuff, wats your logic? a couple good highlights? a couple of made jumpers? lol Ill take Rondo everytime with his winning pedigree and you can have AB, I luv the guy, but you can have him
465fg% 40%3pt this year with 15 apg His career shooting percentage is .488% ! Please stop comparing our little engine that could in Lowry to one of the best pgs in the league...they are NOT even close. DD
but you fail to realize Lowry needs to be the starter and Brooks needs to be the microwave off the bench.. youve in the building with your assessment but backwards, its ok tho
Well we have a thread for just this purpose, Brooks will be out now for at least 6 weeks, and we will see what the records tells us. Right now it is Rockets with Brooks 0-5 Rockets without brooks 3-1 Granted there is the strength of schedule issue, but it should average out over the next month.
LOL, your logic path there was true gold. Lowry should start because Rondo is better than Brooks. What you did there was pure awesome.
Unless someone says that they think Lowry is the better choice starting and that Brooks would have a better role as instant offense off the bench as 6th man. Then it's Lowry that the problem. DD, you are so transparent. I get that you're a Brooks fan. So am I. What I don't get is why you see the need to hammer, incessantly, on a player battling back from injuries since before the season even started. How anyone can make sweeping statements about Lowry's play at this juncture is simply is beyond me. When AB comes back, and I hope it's soon, if he struggles, will you be hammering him for poor play, or talking a mile a minute about how he's getting over an injury? What do you think? I will be defending his play because he isn't a 100%, just as I am now with Kyle.
Sort of, because this year we have Ish..... The only thing I am sure of, is that when both of our PGs struggle we struggle...same with Brooks and Lowry.... DD
WE need both of them because a back court defense with AB/KM doesn't work........................... I wouldn't have an issue with AB, if KM played defense. At this point KM has more value than AB, even though KM disappears in the 4th. But wouldn't that solve the issue, bringing AB as 6th man to score in the 4th? Instead of forcing a starting rotation of AB/KM for 30 minutes? Or would you rather continue seeing Lowry play 20 minutes with KM because AB is a defensive liability or Lowry playing 20 minutes with AB because KM is a defensive liability?
