So iguess last year having trevor out at the same time didn't mean anything either, right?

Underlying issue everybody wants to avoid.

A back court of AB/KM is failure because combined, both of them may as well stand still on defense.

Who the hell cares if AB or Lowry is better, what I care about is AB/KM cannot start together, sure we may see a 42-40 record, but that is no better than rebuilding.

Have you noticed that the defense has gotten better since AB has been out?

AB and KM are like water and OIL.

Yes. And that's why we're winning.

Except last year, when they worked well together.....

    Again....ELEPHANT people........

YAO MING.......you guys are focusing on the wrong thing....

Well, if you are looking at things in a simplistic manner.

Because most people would recognize we are playing pretty crappy teams.....

How many games were they out at the same time? I recall the time Ariza was havingproblems with his hip. Other than that, Ariza was playing.

First, it wasn't fair to draw conclusions on Brooks that he had to play with defensive players like Hayes and Battier....now it's not fair to Brooks that he has to play with Yao etc.....when will life ever be fair to the Future Alpha Dog Franchise Player MIP?

My guess is not before he moves on to less red pastures, which will happen sooner rather than later, probably.

Worked last year?????? you call 42-40 a success, with KM coming in during the later half?

What is our record when AB/KM actually played together last year?

For the 1st half it was AB/Lowry for some stretches or AB/Ariza.

They should be rebuilding in my humble opinion.

Rockets were 28-25 when martin came on board.

    They finished 42-40.

    So 28-25 with Brooks Ariza.
    14 -15 with Brooks Martin.

Yeah, they played really well together during stretches, I would say that folks saying they can't play together are making stuff up, wouldn't you?

I mean it was 5 games against tough teams.....and again.

YAO IS THE ISSUE...no one else.

The team trying to integrate a 7'6" lane clogging guy with hands of stone and is slower than a Sequoai is 100% the issue.

Durvasa is great at this, but maybe you can do it, what was the rockets record with brooks, martin and ariza playing last year?

Way too early for that. They should be looking into something like that if they are floundering come the All-star break.

    1. the issue with pairing KM and AB isn't offense...it's having a backcourt that can't play defense. it's a bad mix, i think.

    2. i think Yao is the biggest issue...but not the only issue. too many eggs in that basket.

Not to me. I will still go to the games and I have the pass. Right now, all the rockets are doing is delaying the absolute. If the team isn't above .500 after christmas, you will start seeing alot of empty seats.

I guess last years 14-15 record with AB/KM is making up stuff......oh and btw they both are excellent defensive guys..

Making stuff up, is actually thinking they can play defense together.

That depends upon whom you play with them...entirely...as it does with ANY combination.

Yao is the biggest issue by a factor of n........

There is no other more disruptive issue to this team.
You do know that I ignored that comment because it is wrong, KM was out a good bit of time.....that was a simplistic look at it, or a half truth...etc..
