AB = Trade bait. A good shooter, but no D, avg ball-IQ, and subpar distributor.

I agree that neither Kyle nor Ish is any threat to shoot the ball, but does that matter when that just means they get the ball to guys like Martin and Scola (something we saw tonight when we had twice as many assists as the Knicks)? I like Aaron Brooks a lot, but unfortunately he was so successful last season that he seems to think he's the man now. He isn't. It's a problem.

Not at all, he just needs time to adjust, he played fine with Yao in the playoffs, Rick just needs to establish a hierarchy.

And AB not playing against the crappy teams is giving folks ammo, but in reality they are shooting blanks.

Now, what we need isn't scoring, we need defense. Brooks can score, but his defense is a liability. Our losses had a lot to do with our poor perimeter defense. First was Brown and Blake of LA, then it is Curry and Ellis of GS, then Harrington.

AB scores ---- Clutchfans = AB for MVP?
AB misses ---- Clutchfans = AB taking too many shots?
AB passes ---- Clutchfans = AB losing confidence in his shot?
AB coughs ---- Clutchfans = AB got SARS?
AB wipes off sweat ---- Clutchfans = AB doesn't sweat

Getting really tiresome, its been 9 games!

No mention of Wall? I see how it is.

Well, Wall had a triple double, that is a different story.

Brooks needs to get in with the program and "try" to play some D. Going under the pick and letting opponents have a free look at the basket is inexcusable.

The Rockets are not better without Brooks. They are better with Brooks coming off the bench. Currently our bench lacks a legitimate scorer.

I think Brooks can cover his man pretty well when they drive in, coz he has the speed. The real problem is when the opponents just shoot over Brooks. They know Brooks can't really block them (Brooks does block occasionally), or play physical with them to alter the shot.

I like the idea, but it will be really hard to happen. This is Brooks' contract year. He will complain even if Adelman has the guts to bench Brooks. No Ginobili and Popvic

    This is false.

That said, we don't need 3.

I think Ish will make Lowry expendable. Brooks will stick around unless we can get a major upgrade.

We need a tempo controlling wing...

Lowry is not a starting material.

You guys can lobby for Lowry starting over Brooks, but the first team needs a point gaurd who can hit an open three because of the style they play. After seeing that awful jump shot by Lowry tonight, I can't wait for Brooks to get back.
