I mostly agree with you - Amen's athleticism allows him to get back into plays he otherwise took himself out of with bad fundamentals. It's breathtaking when we does it but agree he has to get better there. I don't know if I would say Tari was necessarily more fundamental though - I seem to recall he looked better last year but I would say he was still far from fundamental....but we haven't seen him play in SO long. I think more so than his fundamentals, his instincts are just through the roof so he often finds himself blowing up plays as a roamer and when he is locked in one on one, he does a great job at digging into the ball at the perfect spot when the offensive player is taking his eyes off him. ...this is a defensive thread but Amen's tenacity on the boards, connective passing, and ability to score despite such a limited offensive skill set is going to give him more minutes over Tari but Tari does have more '3 and D' potential and I seem to recall was also a decent cutter. I really look forward to more Tari minutes this year. BTW, agree about Bari too - guy is not flashy but he makes an impact as a smart solid defender. He is a good complement to guys like Tari, Reed, and Amen who have elite instinctual, reflex and athleticism traits defensively.
