There has got to be some pics for people to post. Everyone and there mom had some sort of camera.

I had a great time at the event. I beat Boki in a game of NBA Showdown. My friend and I used the Rockets with Olajuwon and Francis. He used the Pacers with Reggie Miller and Dale Davis. Boki kept trying to shoot threes with Miller but my firend must have swatted him four times with Dream. I beat Adrian Griffin in the pop-a-shot with the lowered moving goals and won a Jim Jackson Celebriduck for my efforts. Where ever Yao went there was a mob scene. Got my t-shirt signed my Jim Jackson and Mo Taylor with my autograph ticket. Spoke with Scot Padgett as I entered the event. Talked about NCAA tourny and what he thought Kentucky's chances were. He said KY looked good but he was worried about UCONN. I won a Yao Ming Bobble Head in the raffle. I got Colin Pine's autograph and good pics of him. He was the only "Rocket's celebrity" that didn't have a crowd around him. Other players that I saw but didn't interact with were Mobley, Wilks, Mark Jackson, and Eric Piatkowski. I never saw Spoon or Francis. There was so much going on at a time that it was impossible to do and see it all. Good times. ;)

It was cool, Pike is probably the nicest guy out of everyone. Cato was stuck up. He was so cocky. It was impossible to shake Yao, Mobley or Francis hand. I left around 730, cause it was too crowded. Didnt see Jim Jackson, he must have shown up after 730

I went and thought it was really good. Hey anytime there's free food it's all good to me;) It was really crowded but Steve and Yao walked right past my girl and I and contrary to what one poster above said, they were smiling and looking around...Steve was giving high 5's to some fans. He kept moving from area to area, while Yao spent alot of time shooting baskets...Man, Yao is Humongous, I have met shaq before and he makes Shaq look smaller...I didn't get to see Cato, Mobley or Taylor but Mark Jackson, Weatherspoon, Pike, and Padgett seemed very nice and genuinly pleasent. I also saw Colin Pine. All in all it was great, thanks Rox for a great event which was totally free (besides buying a 12 pack), didn't even have to pay for parking. I just wish I had a camera, but it's all good. Peace.

Just waiting for someone to say something like:

"I saw Francis eating a cheesburger and he wouldn't pass the catsup to Yao. What we need is a pass-the-catsup-first-point-guard----- TRADE HIM!"

On a slightly more serious note; sounds like a great time. Props to Tim and the Rockets for organizing the event.

And am I the only one who loves the comic potential of us showing up to meet the players, and accidentally slipping into our Clutchfans personas? I can just see A-Train shaking Van Gundy's hand, telling him that the Rockets will lose every one of the remaining games and miss the playoffs. Or MacBeth cornering Francis, trapping him on the inside of a booth, giving him a well-reasoned, rational, 30 minute analysis of how to improve his entry pass, complete with numerous historical anecdotes and diagrams on a cocktail napkin. (Speaking of those two, where are they? I miss them).

I don't know, he wasn't signing autographs, I just saw him stading at the booth where they were drawing names out for prizes.
