And this box score from our previous game against the Buttnuggets says you're wrong about us vs the Nugs with Jokic. If we have a healthy Capela, we match up well against them.

Don’t be fooled. A Knight/1st deal is a salary dump for Tillman. The Rockets can match salaries without attaching Knight’s toxic contract for Green.

 

Yeah but it was on so few attempts it’s hard to rely on that. However, in the small sample size he has shot the corner 3 well in his career. He is close to 40% from corner 3s and 18% on all other 3s in his career. His corner 3s are almost 100% assisted so it makes me wonder if he could be a decent 3pt shooter if he has CP3 and Harden giving him wide open looks that he doesn’t have to create.

He probably feels like he didn't play well enough …. These past couple he hasn't been near as good or as efficient as he was in the in all those other games over the 30+ point stretch. Step back getting blocked , 5 turnovers , missed layups …. 4 clanked FT's.

For this team to win , especially without Capela , Harden cant just play at an Allstar level , he has to be Superman - Historically Great.

Adding Knight contract next season, they would have a hard time to do anything.
It is too hard to make good trade for both teams.

 

Our defense is bad now for the sole reason our starting center is injured. That's it lol. We have a bunch of new pieces & there are chemistry problems as expected. I do not see defense as a long term issue once Capela gets back. If you remember we crept back in the top 10 defensively before Capela got hurt

I think Eric Gordon & a pick can get you a Jaylen Brown or a Marcus Morris. Maybe a James Johnson in Miami or Demarre Carol. ANY of those guys would put us where we were last year or better, and it won't cost us too much

 

But he is human and he will tire. He is being run into the ground. I hope I am wrong. But I just don’t feel anything special about this years team. Maybe that changes at the deadline. But right now no. Maybe if Paul all of a sudden becomes last years Chris.

Knight and Gordon would work for Conley. Full disclosure I’m not sure how good Conley is, only have time to follow the rockets closely. Conley, harden, house, pj, Capela. Then cp3, austin, manimal, green, ennis sounds pretty good. Then toss in a couple buy out guys. Also reducing cp mins would be a huge plus
