It is really pretty simple. If you want the Rockets to win. You need the third star. The Warriors have it. Green, Curry and Thompson. Dwight and James keep up their end. Enough of the endless carping about them.

In theory with incredible role players, which we really don't have, you can do it with just the two stars but is tough to beat the three star teams with that type of lineup.

Look at the Warriors the big three plus Bogut, Iguadola, Barnes etc. They are just more talented and you can't keep constantly blaming our two stars and the coaches.

E.g. replace Ariza with Durant (ex MVP perhaps so maybe not quite fair although you do have the endless claims that Harden is a loser and Dwight is a has been and also a loser) and we could definitely hang and probably beat the Warriors.

The third star needs to be on the bench, wearing a suit and tie and a board on one hand.

Yeah right, we have the deepest team of good players that Morey and "coaches" can't put together properly and we need more pieces that won't fit?

This won't work when Harden and Dwight are the other two guys and show their current effort and performances.

This team needs more talent all over the place, right combination of stars also need right combination of role players and good coaching and Rockets right now got NEITHER! You could add KD to this team right now and it wouldn't win championship.

I mean... EVERY team is a Kevin Durant away from being much better. He's really good at basketball.

We just got beat by a 2 star team. Curry didn't play.

Our star needs to stop playing ISO ball, and our coach needs to make the right substitutions.

Barnes, Barbosa, Ezili were missing too. They lost to Mavs badly and we couldn't do ****. We really are bad. Surprise?

Harden is a flawed superstar, Dwight is one or two years removed from being an allstar

A legit third star would be a start..... but I recommend a leader, a No. 1

we don't have any of those and then bring in high end role players that work in a system pls

Would an addition of a Cousins or Carmelo be enough? Keep in mind Cousins would probably cost a monster package such as DMo, Capella, KJ and Ty, for example.

You can't have Durant and Howard on the same team.

They hate each other and you can't pay both of them the max this offseason. So you still only have two superstars.

It's the bench and defense of the team this year. Can't blame Harden when the rest of your team is awful and passing it in the corner wide open hardly ever goes in. Blow up the bench and retool with shooters and defensive bigs. That and hire a coach that know what he is doing. You don't win without Harden. You also don't win with having Dwight not being integrated in the system. Also brewer needs to be traded for a sandwich.
