I'm pretty sure the idea is that a go-to guy who shoots a high percentage is a lot more valuable than one who doesn't, Aristotle. Yao IS the focal point of the team, and the fact that he shoots such a good percentage is a very good reason why.
halfnut? seriously? I do just fine in reading comprehension. If my choice is a healthy T-Mac or a healthy Yao, I take a healthy T-Mac. Yao is too dependent on his teammates. He doesn't have the killer instinct. He doesn't have that "get me the ball" mentality that the greats need to have. Just look at how he's been taken out of this series by a defense that fronts him. He does great when he's not fronted. When he is fronted he's just not a star player. I'd much rather have a player that can create offense for themselves.
really? considering my first reply wasn't toward you and i was answering someone else's question. what you don't like my response to his question? here's my answer for you. I'll take Yao Ming cause he's much better than Tmac and he doesn't throw his teammates and organization under the bus. oh yeah I do like Otis Thorpe and every player that shoots a high %. if you have any reading comprehension that means exactly what it means, not that I said he's the best player since Wilt or he can dance like Michael Jordan. Yao also is chinese. are you going to take that comment and say that Yao is better than Tmac cause he's chinese?
Well, I said it at the beginning of the thread. Just to qualify the statement - everything is relative. Tracy is a better closer than our other players... which doesn't mean a whole lot.
Alright. I was hoping we could talk about the actual topic but I have come to realize this is impossible.
a TEAM did. we had a different player step up and take the lead every game. and btw, lowry and wafer got us the double digit lead that we never relinquished tonight.
