And when you run stupid "offense" with everyone standing around, no one is ready to get back on defense when the dumb shot is finally taken. Aggressiveness breeds aggressiveness. Laziness breeds laziness. Yao has to get the ball, and if he is being doubled, then someone else should be getting dunks, layups, or 4 foot gimmies.

Look at how crappy our defense got - giving up 20 points in 8 minutes, while Yao didn't get a single shot.

    Great job, coach.

sorry I actually watch the game, not like half the people here who pretend too.

And when I watch the Rockets, I care about the game, not what some newbs who overreact on the game thread think.

Is this the same closer we had against the Mavericks in game 7 or the same closer as we had vs Utah in game 7?

Wake up Tmac fans. your hero is not a closer.

When any nba fan including real Rocket fans talk about closers, Tmac is not even on that list. I'd put Mario Elie on that list before Tmac.

Well they did pick and roll with Yao using Artest. But that does nothing than just allow Artest go one on one which what i hate to see because he sucks at it. He should post up on one side and bulldozer his way inside.

Trade one injury prone player for another injury prone player. Great idea.

Or trade an injury prone loser for an injury prone winner.

    I´d take the winner anytime.

It's so weird to me how people can still call McGrady a closer with a straight face. We have had him for two game 7s and lost both, not to mention his playoff history in Orlando. If McGrady was a closer, we woulda gotten out of the first round a long time ago.

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess you haven't seen many spurs' games. If Parker was a good closer, they wouldn't be out tonight!

The spurs' closer is ALWAYS Manu!!!

you could make the argument that you would take Dwight over Yao. Dwight has his problems but he can make himself effective in other ways and at his age his performance has been amazing.

Honestly you could make an argument over anyone but I have no doubt if T-mac was playing tonight we would have not lost that game and Yao would have gotton the ball

Well if that was the only choice but I'm sure there's more choices than 2 injury prone players.
