Rockets are Good When Yao is Mean by David Aldridge

    Yao will never be the same after that! The play-offs harden a players resolve. Just as it did for Tim Duncan.

    Ewing is doing the same thing that Hakeem or Moses Malone would have done. Teach Yao the techniques of post play. We all know that Yao's strong point is his high-post and facing up for the long shot. That's not what needs work. In order for Yao to learn new things he has to go through some struggle. This will pay off later. He'll always be a good outside shooter. That we don't have to worry about him forgetting (like riding a bike). ;)

    But his post training will help him become a more complete player. I think we all know that Yao is not the same as Hakeem or Ewing. But Yao still needs to improve in all aspects of the game.

    P.S. Thanks for clarifying that "clips" are a little different than full access to their practices. One thing I have noticed about Yao is that his spacing on the post kick-out pass is much better. Also, Yao's timing has improved on when and went not to put the ball on the floor when reading the double team.
