Whats scary about rockets offense is, when Harden said we can get so much better he wasn't blowing smoke.. we are all witnessing the crappy first and third quarter starts we are getting primarily because Harden and Paul dont play with great synergy yet.. I am sure they will figure it out, but i dont think they are great off the ball players.. Imagine if they can get the efficiency up in those 15 minutes.. we will be truly scary

Rockets now have the best point differential. Even more amazing, the Raptors are #2.

The Raptors are top 5 in both offense and defense. I hope they don't wet the bed again in the playoffs. I like their team.

I really think this is their year to come out the east.

Boston is better positioned for the long haul but I feel like the Raptors are more tested overall and the chips have fallen in their favor.

Boston young and missing Hayward, Cavs in mutiny, wizards just way to inconsistent and it’s always bad when guys are calling out their injured best player and the 6rs are just to young and really a piece like jimmy butler (they should have offered a lot for him) away from truely contending.

Wouldn't be surprised if SA drops without Kawhi, and Minny and OKC are the 3 and 4 seeds. Would prefer to play Minny over OKC. Let OKC bruise against GSW.

I like them to win the East and definitely think they can win the title unless they shrivel up again in the playoffs.

I like their coach too. Good guy.

I want GS. Don’t get me wrong, a title is a title, but it would be so much sweeter if we blow the doors off them to get there.

Was thinking that this morning :D:D:D

OKC is only 3-4 deep though. After Russ, PG, and Adams, there is a huge drop off in efficiency, production, and defense. Without Roberson, they won't make a deep run.

There is about a 50/50 chance the Rockets are the 1st seed also.

Since James harden came back from the pulled hammy the rockets are 1st in Ortg at 114.7. They are 6th in Drtg at 103.6 and tied for 1st (with the Jazz!) in netrtg at 11.1.

    That’s for a total of 10 games going 9-1

Defense in a shorter sample size is probably even better.

Yeah, it's a fair chance. There's also going to be shuffling from 3-5. Going to be hard to predict.

While james was injured we were 9th in Ortg at 108.9. We were 15th in defense at 106.1. For an overall 12th netrtg at 2.8.

For a total of 7 games we went 4-3.

    .
    .
    .

Up until the injury, including that ugly skid we were 1st in Ortg at 113.1. We were 12th in Drtg at 104.8. With an overall netrtg of 8.3, good for 2nd in the league.

    35 total games at 26-9.

    Conclusion?

Not only is our offense better with harden (hi _holic) but our defense is also better.
