Here are some stats (for you ass, Hubie!) to back up the Chron article that we are historically good on offense through 3 games:

    *#1 in FG% at .470
*#2 in 3pt% at .420 (Memphis is head so could make a great series with Warriors)
    * 119.7 points a game (go back to 93-94 Suns vs. Warriors for that many points through 3 games)
    * we shoot 74% from the FT line and still with the most attempts and makes despite the game 4s played. There's also not been that many Hack-a-whoevers so thank you Harden ;)

Ow yeah, forgot about this little tidbit: 30 dunks through 3 games!! Closest 2nd is Pelicans / Spurs with 17

I'm not sure we can be worse than the Mavs in this regard... Also can someone pull the off/def ratings stats? I don't think any "ranking" of offense or defense is helpful without taking into account pace... Need something possessions paced, at least.

Wow.. interesting stats! Hope they can keep it up! And for the Hack-A-whoever.. Mavs have definitely tried, but Dwight, Capela, and JSmoove have delivered for the most part. JSmoove has been the worse of the 3 tho.

    Here you go.

    Some observations from the stats:
    • The series is played at a frenetic pace so far, it's way faster than the league leading Warriors in the regular season. No "slowing down in the playoffs" at all.
    • Our offense is amazing (would be #1 in the RS by far), our defense is abysmal (would be #30 in the RS). Obviously, the stats are heavily influenced by that bizarre game 3.
    • We've got to get the defensive rebounds! Dwight can only get so many, the other guys have to crash the boards as well.
    • The turnovers are almost equal, that works in the Rockets' favor as we usually turn it over way more frequently than Dallas.

Stats are skewed. That isn't a good team over there.

Hopefully playing a chump team like the Mavs in the 1st will not come back to bite the Rockets in the 2nd.

In the next game or later rounds when Dwight's post/pick n roll aint working, the Rox gonna miss a guy like Dmo in there.... You heard it from me first.

The player to be most missed will be Beverley and it is not even close. Everybody here knows the reason so I won't even bother.

when you lose . . .it is easy to 'miss' what isn't there

Even though you might have lost with them there .. . . .50/50

I'm really worried about finding a way to get more defensive boards. Has to be fixed but I don't think it can be.

When has a Dwight Howard pick n roll EVER not worked? lol

A Dwight pick n roll is a far faaaaaaaaar better option than a D-Mo post up.

What a defense would have to do to take that away would give our 3pt shooters or the ball handler even more space than they have right now.

I would like to think the Pelicans were the worst defensive team in the playoffs
