Okay, Hoop-T, I'll back you up. I think Kidd pushes the ball better than any other pg in the league. When you're running past everyone else, I think that translates to fast. ------------------
Hoop-T: You're right, Kidd is *very* fast. Not quite so explosive as Francis, but he has better timing, right now. IMO, he's easily the best NBA playmaker since Magic. His defense is stellar, btw. His rebounding is superb. Your criticism about his shot was true a few years ago. Now he's a definite threat, although it is the weakest part of his game. ------------------ Shandon Anderson rocks. The lottery sucks. Playoffs 2001.
"'Easily the best?' Let's not get carried away," said future HOF'ers: Michael Jordan, John Stockton, and Isiah Thomas. ------------------ The prettier the rose, the sharper the thorns.
I didn't say player, of course. Jordan was certainly an excellent floor manager from the 2 spot, but the triangle takes care of itself to an extent. Thomas was a shoot first PG. Stockton has had the benefit of Malone all his career, although I agree, one could make an argument for him. I'm not saying the point is inarguable, but in my mind, Jason Kidd is the best playmaker since Magic. I don't think this idea is preposterous. ------------------ Shandon Anderson rocks.
