I don't think anybody on the Rockets got the message. That or Rick didn't want to deliver.

Seriously, Yao was playing under single coverage by Tim Duncan ALL NIGHT. That's NEVER going to happen with any other team. Yao is going to be swarmed with double teams on every other game.

Our wing players minus Shane Battier are jokes, Aaron Brooks is a joke and that's all I have to say.

Next time you so call watch the game, watch how many times yao touches the ball in single coverage. The spurs arent the only tteam that will single yao and just like our discussion a day or so ago, he didnt score 30.

And tell me how many touches he got in the game. Considering the fact that Duncan is probably the best post defender in the league. And Yao managed to shut down Duncan himself.

Really, go play basketball or learn basketball. Because you are truly horrible at knowing it.

yao had single coverage all night, so yes he needed more shots. but there are other teams who single cover him (utah, bobcats last night, lakers WITH bynum).

but he wasn't very efficient in terms of points scored per fg tonight. 18 pts on 17 shots is not good. gotta get to the line more.

How about that named Tim Duncan? Are you going to tell me getting 15 points in 18 shots is better?

Yao's main focus in the game tonight was defense, Sure that MIGHT be a good thing. But clearly Yao is a more offensive minded center and is certainly better on offense.

17 shots are a lot. i mean, even wade only averages 20 shots a game. duncan struggled, but he didn't get shut down. 15, 12, 4 on just 33 minutes of play is pretty decent. yao held his own against a great player.

nobody said duncan played better than yao. relax dude. like i said, the team is becoming more and more tony parker's team if you watch the spurs play.

It took him 17 shots to get 15 points, that's not a good thing. Is this a low blow to Yao now that Mr. McGrady is gone? Shocker.

i think your love for yao is too much. stop bringing mcgrady's name into every discussion.

i never said duncan played great. but he also didn't get shut down. get that?

OOOH. D-1...Yeah I played in D-1000. Ohhhhh I'm the man.

I don't care what you played in, especially when I am sure you are lying. I'm here to talk about Yao Ming and the Rockets. I have no care about what you do in your free time.

15 points for 17 shots is not good considering the fact that he also had 2 FTs. Your little blows to Yao aren't working, and your little low blows to me aren't working either.

you need to watch some more basketball. i never said duncan played great. but being the great player that he is, he did other things well when his offense struggled. he rebounded (12). he got his teammates involved (4 assists). so he did other things while his offense was off today -> a pretty decent game.

if every player is judged by points scored, then forget the other stats then wouldn't we?

yao played better than duncan today. but nobody shut anybody down.

Giving more credit to Duncan than Yao. That's a surprise. I'm guessing if T-Mac had 5 points and Kobe had 25 points in their meeting. You'll say nobody owned anybody.
