What's Isiaah Thomas up to? And what's his contract situation? I'd take him as a under the radar pick up

Except we might be battling for the 8th seed at that point, and I'm not sure you guys realize just how bad the Rockets have been without both Chris Paul and Harden playing. You do realize that Harden hasn't won a single game without Chris Paul this year, right? Way too much patience you guys are giving...

Not if you shut down James and start the full tank mode, when we are out of the playoff race. West is crazily good this year. Couple of "L"s is enough to push us out of top 10 seed. If we can't improve our roster before the trade deadline, I really don't have too much confidence on our playoff run this year.

Yeah, somewhere, better hope we get something "GOOD" back. It seems no one is interested in that combo at this moment.

Wtf? You definitely ain’t no doctor and apparently failed biology lol. He had Meniscus tears removed not tendons, he literally couldn’t walk without tendons. Tendons attach muscle to bone. Further more there’s no way he’s bone on bone. You’re talking Brandon Roy cartlige deterioration wich would be career ending. That’s not what we’re seeing. CP has a unbalance of the hips in my opinion. Similar to what Andre Johnson dealt with. Best course is surgery.

That's Harden, though. He's younger, fitter and doesn't have an history of injuries.

I fully expect him to be out for at least 4 to 5 weeks now.

IT is sitting on the bench in Denver getting healthy. Denver has a ton of talent injured and they are still atop the Western conference.

I think he is on a minimum 1-yr contract.

I didn't know he was injured. I was thinking given his contract situation he'd be perfect for our bench, but never mind

At this point, the rockets need to do whatever they can to just make the playoffs, we shall see from there. Don't rush CP3 back, see how Brandon Knight can do. Its possible.

The glass half full side of me thinks this may force Knight to play more minutes, which will (1) get him up to speed faster, or (2) increase his trade value.

You know. This nightmare began with the CP3 trade. I am pretty sure Morey and crew got out their abacus counters and stat BS and calculated that we would have to commit to Paul for 5 years (his opt in and hte 4 year super maxfleece). Their little algorithms predicted 3 good solid seasons of contention and gave us a 50/50 that in one of those 3 years we would title up. That makes the trade worth it knowing that years 4 and 5 would be competitive, but clearly declining.

So. Morey pushed all his chips in the center of the table, made the trade, and just like Teddy KGB Pauls hamstring

And now Morey Feels along with us fans.

$40M a year player, second highest paid player in the NBA this year, the first of a four year deal, and he's on a minute and games restriction. Wow, just, wow. The window for this group was last year, and likely only last year. The NBA should have stayed out of this and let us win the championship, now the Rockets don't have a chance to avenge last year's screw job.

That's fair. But the doctors who have examined him have said 2-3 weeks. Theres no reason not to believe them. It took Harden 2 weeks, it should take CP 3-4 weeks max. I dont expect it to go to 5, but we'll see what happens after two weeks when he is reevaluated.

Exactly this. To beat a superteam he "upped the risk profile".

CP has to cement his legacy and make something of this contract.
