You could always have a 3 way deal
    Asik & Lin to BKN
    D-Will to Dallas
Plumlee & somehing else to Rockets.

Rockets get a salary dump and a young big for the rotation. Something along those lines. Dallas had interest in D-Will in the past. Let Cuban pay for that contract.

Even a diminished Dwight is worth a max contract. That just speaks to how damn good he was in Orlando. DWill is barely a positive on the court and often isn't.

    "Third star" = max contract?

I don't get this. Deron Williams has not played like a "third star" for a while. But if it's the reputation based on past performance that we are after...then go for it.

    Ohhh yes he is.

His defensive XRAPM was - 1.69
last season it was - 2.80
    in 11-12 it was -3.00

    by comparison Harden's last 3 seasons have been -2.6, -0.9, and -1.1

Williams is a disaster defensively, maybe the worst in the NBA.

Since you will get rid of Lin, I am sure this BBS is at least 90% behind making this deal.

Rudy T and CD made the mistake of going after Glen Rice based on past performance. Deron isn't as bad as him, but he cannot help us at all.
Asik by himself, is more valuable than Deron.

So basically 3 years since no way he doesn't pick up the 22.3M player option. I would stay away from that contract.

Murray would be crazy to deal for Williams, he is basically playing on crutches

    D. Will is trash now. Why the hell would Dallas want him?

I can't believe there are fans who don't vomit at the thought of DWill in a Rockets uniform.

I like the guy, but he's making $60million for three more seasons. It officially ends our Melo/Love/Durant chase.

He had nearly identical shooting percentages from the field this year as Beverley. For a fraction of a fraction of the cost, I get similar shooting, better defense, and slightly worse ball handling.

No way. Feels like something either Dwight's camp would put out, or the Rockets to pressure someone else into a deal.

You're insane if you think anybody is taking on Williams' contract. That thing is an albatross obscured by Joe Johnson's contract.

If we trade for Dwill, I'll personally lead the crusade to crown Billy King as the 2014-15 Executive of the Year

Hard to be clutch when you're down by 21.

Wow no thank you! Horrible contract for us, not worth what he's making, get's foot injections/injured all the time, and down right isn't the same player he use to be. It would be just our luck that we trade for this guy and he goes down with a season ending injury

Nets, you can keep this dude.
