A 10th pick in a draft is very valuable. We would need to give up Martin and KPJ or Martin and another 1st round pick….we gave up two 1st round picks for Sengun…late picks. I would give up 20th pick, TyTy, Martin and Garuba

I could totally see ATL: 20 (via HOU) + Tate Hawks get under tax + add depth player + pick they can flip DAL: Capela (ATL) Dallas adds Capela + has $20M to spend in FA (make Luka happy) HOU: 10 + Bertans (DAL) Rox pick up another lotto pick & can dump Bertans at trade deadline or buy him out cheaply next season
Ayton to the Mavs. Tate/KJ/Kleber/#20 to the Suns. #4/#10/KPJ to the Hornets. #2/Hayward/Bertans to the Rockets. Basically the Rockets get Scoot by taking on a bunch of garbage and throwing in #20.
This is great news if true, I mean honestly I'd like to keep 20th pick as well just give them our 2024 picks cuz that class sucks ass apparently. 10th would be a nice supplement to the 4th pick to round out the team. If Rox pick Amen, then at 10 guys like Taylor Hendrix, Gradey Dick or Kobe Bufkin are available. If they pick Miller or Whitmore, then Black, Wallace, or even Kobe Bufkin. Or maybe they pick Ausar at 4 and get Black at 10 and have Black stand in for Amen.
They don't need to. They will have Cam Thomas, Mikal Bridges, Nic Claxton, and max cap space in a year. Ben Simmons will be an expiring contract. They could trade the picks and Simmons for a fringe allstar and sign another. What did they have before Durant and Irving went there just to be in NY?

If it’s just a 2-team trade, I expect that this is in part a salary dump of Bertans. Houston: #10, Bertans Dallas: #20, Tate Trade would be announced before or during the draft, but not executed until the new league year.
