I know this storyline has been brewing, but from a basketball standpoint, Lakers just don't make sense. He's going to find himself on the bench for most of the game again.
Its gonna be funny if he does go to the Lakers and contributes. I still think it was a mistake and seemed like MDA was holding a grudge
Lakers aren't winning anything... Lebron wants his buddy to make it less miserable. If I'm management I'd probably do it just so we can say we do what we can to help Lebron win. It's more of a locker room move than a basketball decision.
It's going to be even funnier if he does go to the Lakers and still look like trash. Which is actually the more likely outcome. But I do agree with you about MDA holding a grudge though....It's just that Melo is finished. Grudge or no grudge he's never going to play like the mythical "Olympic Melo" or even his younger Nuggets self ever again. And the scoring he can contribute will never make up for his atrocious defense.
