Don't know about the hoopworld story, but the team could have used Damp vs. GS. Could have kept GS from some of the offensive boards.

Can the Rockets give up on Ish when the condition of Lowry's back is indefinate?

If there's a trade Taylor is likely the one moved. They could even move Hayes as Dampier would be taking his minutes.

Yeah, but after all this sitting back and chilling, is he in shape?

Need to keep Ish for insurance purposes.

    Lowry is officially injury prone.

Unless Morey knows a trade is up his sleeve?

Besides, back spasms are likely a reoccuring injury.

Just ask former all-star and 2 time scoring champ Tracy McGrady.

Probably no, don't mean he could have helped yesterday specifically, but in future similar situations. He bring something the players didn't bring yestersday and can help.

Regarding @therocketguy report that Dampier is headed to Houston, a source close to situation tells FanHouse there is no verbal agreement.

That being said, the source said it certainly does appear that Dampier is leaning the Rockets' way.

If he is gna sign for Rockets
i'll either: sent Ish or JT to RGV Vipers or waive Jared Jefferies

Waiving Jeffries makes NO sense. His expiring contract is going to be massively valuable come the trade deadline. Why would we just let him walk??

Hell, we could've used that guy Jordan Hill against GS.

    Oh wait....

And as far as waiving D'ish-- awww HELL no! find a way to give JT to someone, à la David anderson or something. D'ish is the only one of our scrubs that's gotten playing time + he's awesome. If they moved him, that would be redonculous.

I'm guessing Taylor will be gone before Ish. Why? Because Ish has gotten playing time so far while Taylor has been glued to the bench.

Agreed there. Especially with Lowery's situation.

JT has much more talented than Ish. The reason JT hasn't played is because we have more depth at his position than at PG right now. I have to wonder if we say no to Dampier.
