Dm sign this dude already. The front court would gain much needed attitude with Miller and damp.

I really like's what Dampier brings to our frontline with his size and strength, and if he does sign I wonder who's infront of who in the depth chart.

It sure will be interesting to see this 1st preseason against Orlando, who comes of the bench 1st, Dampier or Miller...

I would love to see this lineup during some occasions

    Lee
    Martin
    Battier
    Miller
    Dampier

    or

    Lowry
    Lee
    Budinger
    Dampier
    Yao

Yeah lets just settle on a D-leaguer, a rookie, and raw talent that needs a lot of work.

Do realize that Yao's championship window is closing. We need to be in a win now mode and Dampier would help tremendously with defense and rebounding that we lack.

Meh, anybody could run on that team. The '09 Texans could run on that team.

Ish Smith can be as effective with that help for the C position ....sitting on the bench.

Vet min or nothing. That's his market value.

If we sign him, I can see us good defensive team this year.

Dampier could be most useful when we play against big line ups like the Lakers. Tired of watching their bigs act like Wilt Chamberlain.

It's true: Dampy would make the Laker bigs look more like Usain Bolt.

Sadly, I don't think that's true at all. It's really hard to put into words how slow Dampy is, from running the court to just moving his hands or making a facial expression.

(e.g. here is "intensity," but his facial muscles didn't register the command from his brain until well into his post-game shower.)
