Hopefully he doesnt sign with us...
We have enough bodies to work with if Hill can do 5 or 6 minutes at the center spot and if we can somehow pry Chris Anderson from nuggets and Anthony Randolf from knicks in a trade that sends melo to NY that would be awsome.... I wish.

    I couldn't disagree more.

Guys... If Yao goes down, you're basically banking on having Miller, Hill, and Chuck manning the 5 spot. I don't know about you guys but I'm not comfortable with that. Miller didn't really play that well last year and he lost his starting spot. At this point, we can't trust Hill because he's just too raw. Then we have Chuck... I love the guy but we're not going to considered contenders/compete against the West if he's playing 20+ minutes at the C spot. Lastly, both Hill and Chuck are fours if anything.

I'm not saying Dampier is the best thing out there but he fills a need if Yao goes down again.

This is such a useless argument. If he never gets off the bench it would be a good signing.

Experienced, serviceable centers with legit size are to basketball what left-handed pitchers are to baseball... i.e. you can NEVER have too many of them.

It's a run-on alright, but it makes plenty sense. ;)

I disagree. He says we shouldn't go after Dampier because we have enough bodies, then he names two players that aren't even on our roster.

I don't think we should trade for Carmelo because we have Chase Budinger and Andre Igoudala is on the Sixers and Gerald Wallace is on the Bobcats.

Bucks announce signing of free-agent C Brian Skinner. I'm told A) contract is non-guaranteed and B) MIL now out of Dampier hunt. 20 in camp

If he doesn't make his decision by the end of the day, I think I'm going to freaking explode. I mean he's picking between the Craptors and Houston for Christ's sake.

What are you in a hurry for? Is there an upcoming playoff game we absolutely need Dampier for that I forgot about?

It has more to do with the fact that a third-rate player's treating both himself, and his decision as if he were a superstar.

I hope Im wrong, but if he were going to sign with the rockets then he probably would have already signed. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Portland get him.
