morey takes the parcells approach to the roster, which i highly agree with. always look at who's available, always churn the bottom of the roster.

Well if this happens we'll have Yao, Miller, Dampier, Scola, and Hayes to go go up against Gasol, Bynum. I say go for it. We need all we can get to stop the Lakers frontcourt.

    This is my first post.

I think dampier rumor is bogus cause people rumor everything out of anything. So lets see john doe was release maybe since houston has a injury at the center spot and dont have this or that he might be acutally a good fit. This rumor is so stupid its so hard to be a nba fan, i swear.. Maybe but the rockets have not cut Jordan Hill who can be a fit as a projected Center. So whats the point of this article? Maybe houston can have a projected center who once said he was better than yao ming? Makes news cool, but what is the point?

I like it. He's a good body, can compete against Gasol&Bynum, depth. If you can also take him off the hands of a contender, that's a Rockets improvement + top rival not improvement. Great.

Would be a great move. But I doubt he doesn't end up in Miami, where he could start and win an easy championship for comparable money.

He is very arguably better than 9 and 5, Brad Miller...

    Why even discuss this?

Erick is more than likely going to sign with Miami. I don't see why he would sign with us when he would be a starter for the Heat or at least a key contributor off the bench. Lets be real here.

I have no problem with it. As much as I like chuck hayes the less he is on the court the better for the rockets, mainly against teams like lakers and boston.

I love crow legs dampier. I think he goes to the heat though, so he can win a ring there and be like shaq.

Yes but dampier was a maverick who said he was best nba center in the league. Yuck this guy was yao b**** once. :

The depth of our roster encourages players to give maximum effort, knowing that they aren't entitled to minutes and there is always an alternative (case in point Von Wafer/Brent Barry).

I dont mind having another true center on the team after a whole season of 6'6 center in Chuck, I love Chuck but i would rather use him on smaller physical players like like Ron Artest or Al Jefferson.

He's a Yao insurance bro. He'll give us length and shot blocking, something we have a few of.

Id love to have the self proclaimed second best center in the league. Even though he never was in the top 10.

We don't need him and I thought the Heat had 15 when they signed De'sean Butler?
