If they have any size at all 20+ easily and they'll dominate the boards.

And that is my point. Who cares if jones can score 16 if he gives up 20.

Wait it out people. No need be all "let's get Monroe/Millsap/etc etc" let the young guys get better and get that stock up... save it for the trade deadline and let Harden/Howard lead the team

Sorry your savior jones is still an undersized pf. Harden and Howards offense wasn't enough to stop portland in the playoffs was it? You know, when aldridge was getting 30+ points.

Well... then we lose... since your implying that we are worse than we were last year.

So you really think Harden/Howard will lose to the Blazers again? Think really hard about this and place yourself in their shoes. Not going to happen.

Your right King90210. We should trade Jones and maybe even throw in our 1st rd pick.. etc etc... but for what reason? Whats the end goal? Millsap? Are we that much better with Millsap? Is this the championship team Morey wants? Please. Let Jones/DMO play continue to develop...

This has been reiterated a thousand times...Jones is NOT an undersized PF. He's the right size but he needs to develop better habits defensively. Patience...he's almost there.

Come 2015 Offseason Dmo/Jones will probably get their Team Option declined to add a 3rd star if they arnt traded before that

Well the Rockets ARE currently worse than they were last year, hopefully that will change before the season starts or at least at the trade deadline, but I don't think anyone could make the case that the current team is better than last season.

People keep saying that he's not undersized, but he still plays like he's undersized and everyone keeps seeing the larger PF's push him around and shoot over him like he's not even there.

I don't imply anything. I say whatever I have to say, take it as you may. I didn't say trade jones and a first for anyone. Jones isn't the answer at starting PF. All the big PFs dog him out. You can't always depend on harden and Howard to make up for everyone else on the team. I don't remember seeing a game that was 2vs5

Rocket dude, I wish the nba worked like on the play station, you know playing on rookie and only giving Howard and Harden the ball and winning the game. Too bad it doesn't. And yeah millsap is an upgrade over jones, and if you think they are on the same level then you clearly have issues.

He can also play the power forward position. He won't be starting but between C and PF, he will get starter minutes.

He doesn't have the ability to stretch the floor though.

    Last Season:

    At the rim: 62.1%, Attempted=7.5
    3-9 ft : 30.5%, Attempted=2.6
    10-15 ft: 33.3%, Attempted=0.4
    15-23ft: 30.0%, Attempted=2.0

    FG%=48.6%

At this point I don't see why not. He's young and he shows promise and he's the 4 everyone is saying we're missing. He could increase his mid game. I'm
All for grabbing a star but who's really realistic and ideal for us?. To me you get the best prospect right now because hardens and Howard's contract is not going to last forever. We need to win now. If morey plans on waiting until next season for a star and doesn't land one it's going to be another sad saga story for houston.

YES. Milsap is a much better post offensive, and defensive player than everyone we have. He's a much better rebounder than every power forward we have, and he can even knock down the wide open three pointer now. Did you even watch any Hawks games last season? Paul Milsap was beasting on that team.

It kills me how everyone is blaming everything on Jones. We have one of the best defensive centers and defensive point guard in the game but our lack of defense is all Jones fault even though he hardly played after he lost his starting spot in the playoffs. There is NO WAY is at all the coaches fault.
