The Rockets trade away Asik before the season started. Asik - whose a much better defender than Lopez, count less in cap than Lopez (only half), makes less than Lopez this year and does not have next year player's option like Lopez has (16 mils), and the Rockets still traded him away. Per JFeigan, In the last 8 games, the Rockets are no. 3 on offense rating and no. 2 on scoring, offense is not the major concern for this team now.
The Nets have 1 open roster spot and 4 expiring min contracts (Jefferson, Brown, Morris, & Jerome) that can be waived. Jones, Capela, Pap, Canaan, Shved, & Dorsey + Pels pick for Lopez? Salaries work. Flip for Dragic? These would work where Gogi is the only core player being traded making it attractive to the Suns IMO: Gogi, Zogi, Ennis, Plumlee, Goodwin or Gogi, Zogi, Green Leaves the Suns with possibly this rotation.
