Woj: OKC is motivated to do a deal for him. They know they're on the clock with Durant. ... Even though the Nets just pulled back, I think they find a way to get a Lopez deal done.
having lopez would bring dwight out of the paint when we are defending. with ibaka's 3pt shooting ability and lopez's long 2 pt shooting ability we will have both our big men out in the perimeter with KD/westbrook/jackson getting to the hole....that won't go well.
I'm surprised other teams haven't gotten involved. While Lopez has his issues, if he stays healthy, he might be the deciding factor in a 7 game series. The other west teams should know this and do everything they can to drive up the price and or make sure he doesn't go to OKC. Good job Morey.
Don't we have that lin exception. Does he fall under that? and if they want player back, I don't see us in it it.
Funny how time changes things in the NBA. When the Lopez brothers were in Stanfaord, Brook was by far the better player. And accordingly, he went higher in the NBA draft. Now... folks would much rather have Robin. Sorta like the Gasol brothers...
Not true at all. Brook is a far superior player to Robin. Robin is no better than Steven Adams on the Thunder.
Probably probing to have Lopez sent to a 3rd team...however if by any chance we do get Lopez for garbage...our 2nd unit would be SICK.
What's great about trading for Lopez is it would be easy to flip him before the deadline without having to aggregate salaries. For example: Lopez + NOP 1st for Kevin Love Lopez for Goran and filler Lopez for Lawson and filler
Your username is quite apt. Well, half your username anyways. We've already pinned our hopes on two injury-prone players in the past....we know how that movie ends. Did you not watch the playoffs last year? That's where Dwight shows his true identity.
too late. you can't trade someone for 60 days after you traded for him. if we get lopez we will not be able to flip him this season.
