Is 2014 draft becoming Morey's new 2009? Tyler Ennis Clint Capela PJ Hairston KJ McDaniels Nick Johnson
Holy crap this dude is a freaking animal. If Harden and MDA can control him, this is Tony Allen that can score a little bit. Wow, what a steal.
Training camp body, probably signed him more for the Viper rights than any actual chance to the big team roster. Yawn.
For a minute I was thinking this was a different Hairston. Wasn't there a PF with that name recently? Played for NO?
I think with his skill set and depending on if KJ is traded because he and KJ are very similar, he could crack the rotation and maybe get 8/3/5 and play some angry defense. Charlotte should not have drafted him, he was better served going undrafted because he has a lot of maturing to do and that would've been a rude awakening, his demeanor reminds me a little of Kirk Snyder. But regardless of that with a guy like John Lucas on staff I think he can be corralled
Malik Hairston, played for the Spurs actually. Dude was the man at Oregon, flamed out in the league. I think he played on the Ducks squad with Aaron Brooks, Chamberlain Oguchi and Marty Leunen, got to the elite eight one year. He's still drawing checks in Greece
I've admittedly not watched all of this guys minutes in the league. But I understand he's not exactly a great defender. Of course he hasn't exactly been a great offensive player either. So pure upside bet, or training camp/d-league body. I definitely don't know the universe of free agents out there, but would rather DM have tried someone else... but whatever.
Best known, I believe, for being the single most obscure player to get multiple flopping infractions in '14-'15.
From the few games I saw of him while he was in Charlotte, he was trash. Who knows though, maybe he plays better here (if he makes the team).
