You have to ask yourself why that is the case? The Suns now have nowhere else to turn. Durant asked for a trade. They did everything to get Yimmy including stupidly trading their 2031 1st for 3 insignificant 1sts just to move Beal who they couldn't move. They got Durant a decent C and then lit a 1st on fire to get rid of Nurkic to appease Durant. The Suns don't want to trade with the Rockets because they are going to get bent over.

I want Ant and don't want Booker and Durant's value is less after the trade deadline but both could be had in offseason for FVV, Jalen, Jock, 2027 and 2029 in separate trades. They were actually stupid for not trading Durant now because they could have dropped out of the 2nd apron to give them more flexibility.

    Post mortem: (per Shams)

Wolves made a bid for KD.
Warriors made a bid for KD (until KD said NO). Apparently a threeway: Warrior's offer was: Butler (money), Kuminga, a combination of 1st rd and 2nd round picks & swaps.

Pretty sure Suns are in meltdown mode and we are likely to get a nice lottery pick from it this year.

I highly doubt Ant is going anywhere, unless he demands out, there is no reason to assume he is even attainable. Frankly, I don't think Booker is a guy that can lead your team to a championship either, I really don't understand why we are so infatuated with him.

LOL…they are running Booker to the ground. I think he’s played basically the whole game tonight.

Well, Rockets got their best picks (barring 1 - Amen) in the middle of the first round so if they end up with #16, 17, or 20 (or anywhere in the middle of the first round) I feel like they are going to get a solid player especially in a deep draft like this.

It will still be a lotto pick IMO esp now KD is butthurt PHX were trying to trade him. Booker is getting run to the ground if he breaks down PHX is screwed.

There is only one ball, PHX w KD and Booker is pretty terrible, not sure why we would want to bail them out to become PHX 2.0. Part of PHX's failure is due to cap and not being able to surround them w the right guys, part of it is because KD/Book just don't fit well together.

It's because more than half the board think jLaen green sucks so we are trying to figure out how to upgrade that position

No KD again tonight and they are down big in the 4th. I mentioned this early last month, they had an easy stretch of games where they handled business, now they have hit a tougher stretch and the remainder of the year is fairly brutal for them. I think what makes this situation unique is that KD and Booker are #2 and #5 in minutes per game played, so if by the end of the year if they are out of play in contention, i think they may shut KD down all together.

Rockets announced they are retiring the Suns draft picks. Jersey Banner night coming soon.

Stone doesn’t feel right to use them.

I don't want either of them.

Being honest, Jalen has put up similar percentages to Booker this year has greater upside, he has also been the better defender (not saying a whole lot) and I'm probably considered a Jater .... Just don't see why the Rockets make that deal giving up bigtime assets for a marginal if any upgrade, I'd rather deploy those assets elsewhere.

As for Durant, he's a hangnail away from being the worst contract in the league .... with a history of hangnails.
That ship sailed ..... and sank somewhere.

With all the movement, I can see a whole lot of teams re-evaluating and some big names on the move.

I think Jalen sucks sometimes ..... but I don't want to replace him with Booker.

Yeah it really would suck to have an all NBA player replace the consistent Jalen Green.
