Dude, I am massively anti TPS - i'm just being realistic as a Rocks fan.

I'd LOVE Andersen to go nuts and become an NBA all star, but he is what he is.

And that's gangly, with 2 left feet and a slow release on his J.

Why DD I'm curious ! I mean I've never even heard of him. Is this guy better than Gorat or Tyson Chandler ?

Whoo!!! Daryl Morey did it again. That's all we needed was a big man. Here's what the line-up should look like.

    C: David Andersen/ Joey Dorsey
    PF: Luis Scola/ Carl Landry
    SF: Shane Battier/ Trevor Ariza
SG: Tracy McGrady (when back)/ Von Wafer
    PG: Aaron Brooks/ Kyle Lowry

Damn, he can shoot the three?

We got ourselves a Rick Adelman center.

If this guy was any good, he'd already be in the NBA.

80% FT shooting in Euroleague last year. Have we found our second center in a row for whom we can say, "HE SHOOTS OUR TECHNICALS!"

not too impressed with the video i saw of him and definitely looks like he'll have a hard time with the quickness of the NBA, but at 6'11" and healthy you bet your ass i'll take it at this point

When Dada loves a pick up, it's the kiss-of-death for the player.

Didn't want to play for the Hawks and one 3 chips on some Euro clubs. Not to mention he was on the Aussies FIBA TEAM.

Well at least we wont feilding 6'6 Hayes, 6'9 Scola, 6'8Battier, 6'7 Ariza, and 5'11 Brooks. That is not a anymore of a rebounding monster than it would be to put a 7 footer in that fold. Certainly couldnt hurt in other words when Hayes is flailing about and cant gaurd any of the 7 footers for stretches while he is getting torched and missing layups left and right at least we could have a guy that might come in and stop the bleeding and maybe puit some points in While Chuck has missed his tenth layup off of the back board on tips that never go in. I am just saying its a obvious upgrade if you look it at from a Chuck freaking Hayes aspect as your possible starting center all year long against Shaq, Howard, Gasol, Oden, and whoever is 7 feet tall. I think at least that is good to have that one above 6'9 guy to go to.

He was stuck in the same situation as Scola. His rights were held hostage by Atlanta. They didn't want the extra salary, but they didn't want to let him go to another team and look good. He b****ed and whined to Atlanta to trade him like Scola did with the Spurs. They said "Fine" and traded him away without taking back salary.

Hawks beat writer's opinion on Andersen:

Rockets basically bought his rights for for cash.

Looks good, definitely seems like a guy that would fit into RA's system...his post moves are kind of like Yao's but with more energy, and shoots the three, like a Brad Miller. Also almost got stuffed by the rim at 1:00 into the second video ;)
