WOW, saw the segment. I was pretty damn imrpessed the kudos being thrown around about the Rockets by those national panalists. Guys like Mariotti and Page ususally rip Yao and the Rockets and they were praising them up and down.

You can tell our winning streak is making a difference with their stance on the Rockets today.

yeah as much as I like paige he was ripping on yao starting the game because of the votes in china and generally everyone on there never really have anything good to say about houston. its was pretty obvious calishaw wouldnt buy because the guy is from dallas but there rest including marrioti is pretty surprising.

With the expectations back up though we have to "meet them or exceed them" as jvg said during the t-mac press conference and I do think that this team now can not only meet but exceed them.

Went over to ESPN boards, and even that is being taken over by Talk about the Rockets.

    Or...

our winning streak just has them on the bandwagon. How many times do you really see the analysts on ESPN actually have a different opinion than the majority opinion of the nation on the issue?

All those people on Around the Horn jump on every bandwagon ever. Watch...If Yao has a really bad performance for the next 10 games (god forbid he doesn't), theyre going to be saying stuff like "Yao's inconsistent and hasn't improved at all. His good play before the last 10 games was just a fluke. Yao sucks blah blah blah. He wont be dominant ever, blah blah blah"

The only reason I ever watch that show is to see how stupid these guys are and just see woody paige and mariotti go at it.
