    I think that is a great observation. The Rockets have been through the gauntlet this season with all of the back to back and road games. But now the team is getting a lot of rest days and home games.

    The Lakers at 9th, but not even in the playoffs.... too funny. There are 16 teams with better records.

    The media sure does love to kick it to the Lakeshow when they can.

    I hope they get killed tonight in OKC.

    the Lakers are 13-5 in their last 18 games. There aren't playoff standings, these are power rankings, and the Lakers have been pretty powerful lately.

    Just a guess, but Stern probably wants his big money teams to be playing more towards the end when people start paying more attention to games on TV.
