With the 46th pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, the Houston Rockets select De'Anthony Melton from USC. What do you think?
pretty sure this is the straw that breaks Lebron's back . . . now there's no WAY he's coming to Houston
With his poor shooting %s, no way we see him play next year with the Rox. He's RGV all day long until he can fix that shot.
theringer.com had Melton going 23. I'm definitely not mad at picking him up at 46. They compared him to Marcus Smart. I would love that. I'm just going to trust that Morey knows what he's doing.
He is a good pick. Defense, athleticism, court vision and passing are his strengths. Shooting needs to get better, but his jumper is not broken. Best backup PG available.
Don't know too much about him, but I do know that lots of my friends who actually watch college ball (and some online mocks) had him going in the mid to late 1st round, undersized but has a reputation as a good defender. Not bad! If the Rockets can work on his shot he can be a steal in the second round!
This guy is a baller. He just has it. He's been the best player on the floor in every summer league game. Love his game, what a pick
