We only give up picks Jabari will be moved to SF Amen Green Jabari Lauri Sengun Amen Reed Jabari Tari Lauri
While OKC and SA have more picks, they really don't have a ton of young players they can trade. OKC's not trading any of their core, and SA obviously not trading Wemby. Personally, I'd trade any one of our prospects aside from Sengun, Amen, or Sheppard with draft capital towards Markkanen. Regarding whether he is a "star," I think it just depends on your definition. His splits last year were fantastic -- 23 points and 8 rebounds on a near 50/40/90 split with a .63 TS%. Amen, Markkanen, and Segun seems, on paper, like a great fit, and Sheppard's skillset would also be complementary. Not sure we can get it done, but if that's our "big move," I'd be good with it.
Who you sending out for him? One of the “core 6 7” is definitely leaving. Although now you got me thinking, what if we just sign him in free agency next year? I don’t think he’ll make it and would sign an extension with his new team (if traded).
I'd personally love to see this lineup: Amen Sheppard Markkanen Smith Sengun Sengun facilitating and Amen slashing while surrounded by snipers.

Lauri might be heading toward FA, trade or no trade. The Rockets could land Lauri in the 2025 FA offseason, at likely a max contract. Unsure if Lauri is a prototypical Udoka player.
just looked up Hayward’s stats given that we have the 2nd best odds to land him. Can’t believe he’s 34; seems like yesterday I was watching him at Butler. He can still shoot. I don’t think we need another SF, interesting to see Houston as one of the favorites to land him.
Getting Hayward would be doing a signing to do something. He is not a star, he doesn’t fit our timeframe, and he would just eat up minutes as a vet that are better served on younger two way players that will actually contribute more to winning
Who's your creator here, Sengun? There's nobody on this team capable of causing the defence to collapse, all you'll have is good shooters unable to get an open shot because the defense is never forced to rotate, we'd be super easy to shut down.
Pistons should be all over Lauri and have a competition between Ivey and Cade on who's going to be the future of the franchise.
Why what position does he play? He’s not a superstar and maybe not even a robin to a Batman. He’s not Avery good defensive player, so what you may gain on offense you lose on defense. We need to save those picks for when a real star becomes available.
That’s my issue with trading for him. Either Amen or Tari would lose minutes, both of which are critical to our defense and transition game.
Prefer Kessler to Markannen. Would be a lot cheaper and provides rim protection. Rockets would be lucky if Adams plays 45-50 games next season. His value will be mentor and contract filler for trade. Kessler is not a star, but he is solid. 2.4 blocks, his 2 year career average. Like the potential of the Oregon FA, Dante. But he is a project, G League bound
That Murray trade is a little perplexing to me. They only got draft picks back, so I assume they are going into a full rebuild and Trae will probably get dealt, too. We could have likely had Murray for Jalen,Tate and a pick (maybe some other seconds). Murray is established, so you know what you are going to get and he is locked in at a friendly price. That move would have guaranteed us a playoff spot next year. I'm going to assume that Stone is saving all of his salary fillers and picks for a big haul.
