We're trying to finalize that, too ... right now, we're dependent on when Reebok and the league can deliver the actual final copies of the uniforms. (The ones that snuck onto the net a week or two ago weren't final.) The only commitment we've gotten to date is "before Media Day." Media Day is at the end of September.

We're ready to go as soon as we have them in hand -- I'm as anxious to get that date nailed down as anybody here.

Your member title should read, "The Enchanter".

    Tim,

Is the Test Drive Open House this year's version of last year's open practice? Please tell us it's not. :(

    Thanks

I wasn't at last year's Open Practice, moomoo, so what's so bad about this one? Is it because they don't mention any players and it's an "open house" instead of an "open practice"? Maybe they'll have the players out later... *shrug*... maybe JVG is cracking the whip and saying no goofy player exhibitions... :)

The Toyota Center Test Drive is our open house, and it's a DIFFERENT event from the open practice.

The open house on Saturday, September 13th, is your chance to come on in, explore around the building, and generally just check it out. We'll have seats that are available for season and partial season plans marked as well for folks who are more comfortable seeing their actual seat before buying.

We'll have some activities going on -- a kids clinic, probably a slam dunk exhibition (not with Rockets players, though), and probably some bands. But the activities aren't really the focus; it's just people's chance to check out the building. Most of the concession stands will be open, and we're planning on doing some tours of the back-of-house areas like the locker room and practice gym.

Open Practice will occur sometime towards the back half of the pre-season, and it will be just that -- a chance for people to come to the arena and watch a live practice. Last year, Rudy used it to scrimmage different combinations of players. Coach Van Gundy will decide how he wants to use it this year.

Both events are free. To come to the Test Drive 9/13, just drop by a local Toyota dealer to pick up a free ticket -- the building will be open noon to five.

Yeah, for real...Clutch Crew: can somebody give our Rox connection a member title...like "The REAL Voice Of The Rox" or at least "The Guy That Hooks All The Uniform Junkies Up With A Fix."

I mean, A-Train's crazy behind is "Running With Scissors" and my pestering self used to be "dTown333" and what did we ever contribute to calm the insanity of the masses?

    :D

But thanks, as always, Tim. Cool member title or not.;)
