At first I was hype on Paul George, but now I think the Pacers will ask for Eric Gordon, and that's a lot to give up because the Rockets also need a deep bench. The Rockets will give up their 6th man for a rental.
What I would like to happen is this trade: Cavs: get Paul George Rockets: get Kevin Love Pacers: Get Ryan Anderson, Cavs 1st round, Capela, etc. Cavs want to get rid of Love but no one wants his contract. Rockets want to get rid of Anderson but no one wants his contract. Pacers do them a favor and get Capela, a 1st round and some other pieces.
I don't even think the Pacers would do that...and btw what's even the point to give up Capela, Anderson and other parts to get Love which is basically a better rebounding Anderson?
A better rebounding, less injury-prone, and better 3pt shooting Anderson. Plus he has more playoff experience.
Pacers have Turner...dont need Capela. Personally, I would love to try to poach Turner from the Pacers if at all possible.
Less injury prone...eh, not sure. Better 3pt shooter? Nah...maybe just in Houston, i give you that lol. Overall doesn't move much, especially if you're losing your starting center and other parts...i think there's a reason the Cavs weren't able to find good enough assets with him to trade for George.
You can never have too many assets I just put Capela since he is the most attractive available Rocket. Sub his name for Gordon or Ariza.
