Fact is, if he comes to Houston and we sign a star, and actually compete against the Warriors for the WCC, I just don't see how PG decides "I'd rather go to LA and sit the playoffs out for the rest of my career... for less money!" I think it's worth the risk to do whatever it takes, minus trading Harden.
Interesting. Talks stalled. Rockets have to be losing their mind tonight. Have no control over anything.
Logic leads me to believe this, especially since they can get Hayward for free soon but, who knows... Boston definitely needs a center or a big...
We good bros. Whether we get George or not, we good. We got a nice and deep team and cap space to make improvements with minor trades. If we get George, excellent! 2nd star, might lead to a chain reaction. If we don't, we still 3rd best record in the NBA coming off of our first year under a new coach and big changes. We good.
Porzingis definitely a better target, but if they aren't willing to move their top picks, they aren't going to get Porzingis. Phil isn't trying to dump him.
Phil is trying to get fired. I can't see the organization ok'ing a Porzingis trade. Phil wants to get paid for sitting, just like Carmelo.
I wonder if Pritchard is waiting on Morey to get something good to trade or if the ball is on Ainge court...
