The Wolves can really get Butler, he's locked for two years, knows Thibs...they need to get him instead of George.
Makes no sense. PG isn't staying on a lotto team, in a place/market like Minny. Have a hard time believing it. Sounds like something Indy would put out to pressure the lakers for the 2nd.
PG is just a perfect fit next to Harden. Length, athleticism, scoring, you name it. Scottie Pippen-esque.
The only reason i can see for this is they've decided Wiggins needs to play full time at SG and Lavine is in the way. They've got a bright future, but not sure now is the right time to go All In on a superstar. And agree with what everyone else is saying - Wiggins and Butler on the wings would be devastating.
We can't compete with that offer, and Minny is stupid. I'm sorry, but there's no way in hell that Paul George would re-sign there.
Minny should be going after Butler...he's played under Thibs before and he's not expiring Morey still has a shot at PG, these other offers I've seen are straight boo boo
This could also be a move by Minny to take pressure the Bulls into taking their offer, threatening that they will use it on George. Butler makes sense, he loves the coach, is under contract another season, better player, and hasn't made it known that he's obsessed with going to a huge market/flashy city like LA.
If that's what it takes to get PG3, we are done. Maybe it's for Butler tho or MAYBE MINNY is creating a superteam?
